When Praying Isn’t Enough: A Christian Conversation on Mental Health with Author Ganel-Lyn Condie Join us for a powerful and honest conversation with Ganel-Lyn Condie as we explore the intersection of faith, mental health, and the healing power of Jesus Christ. In this episode, Ganel-Lyn shares her personal experiences navigating depression, anxiety, and a loss from suicide while holding onto her testimony of Christ. Together, we talk about the mental health struggles many Christians quietly carry, how to remove shame from the conversation, and why turning to Jesus is not weakness, it’s strength. We also dive into the role of Christian art in emotional healing. How visual reminders of Christ’s love can anchor us in dark seasons and help us feel seen, known, and supported. This is an honest, hope-filled discussion about faith, therapy, resilience, and trusting God even when healing feels slow. If you’ve ever loved Jesus but still struggled mentally or emotionally, this conversation is for you. Use Code: PODCAST20 for 20% off site-wide

Twelve years ago, Ganel-Lyn Condie’s 40-year-old sister Meg died by suicide after a lifetime of mental health struggle. Six weeks later, Ganel-Lyn submitted her first manuscript. That grief became 20 books, more than 2,000 keynotes, and a mission she never planned. In this episode of Why We Believe, host Nathan Gwilliam talks with Ganel-Lyn about how the woman with the issue of blood reframed 13 years of unanswered prayers as the very definition of faith, how the stewardship principle changed the way she parents with lupus, and the day God left a green sticky note on her windshield at the temple when prayer alone was not enough. Ganel-Lyn carries her sister Meg as a mission companion in every conversation about mental health. Her message to anyone who feels done trying: today is not your forever. Even the thread of His robe is enough. Loved this episode? Hit Follow and share it with someone who needs to hear that God sees them in the struggle.

Hosts Haley Hatch Freeman and Misty Smith welcome author and speaker Ganel-Lyn Condie to Latter-day Miracles. Ganel-Lyn shares experiences that shaped her faith, including the suicide death of her sister. Her advocacy for mental health conversations within faith communities, and her healing journey through chronic illness (lupus), unemployment, and infertility. She describes being told she had 10 years to live and would never have children, then becoming the mother of two “miracle” children after years of waiting. The conversation explores the difference between joy and happiness, how to “claim” promised blessings while surrendering to God’s timing, and the value of praising God in both hardship and abundance. Using stories from scripture (Joseph, Nephi, and the woman with the issue of blood) and metaphors from her book Sourdough and the Savior, Ganel-Lyn emphasizes that what we feed grows, encourages mindful media consumption, and teaches focusing on offerings rather than outcomes. The episode closes with an invitation to record and share miracles to bring hope amid discouraging headlines, and listeners are invited to submit their own miracle stories.

Forgiveness vs Reconciliation — and why confusing them keeps you stuck.

In this episode of The Real Intelligence Podcast, Jenny Swim sits down with speaker, author and mental health advocate Ganel-Lyn Condie to untangle one of the most misunderstood concepts in personal growth: forgiveness.

Forgiveness is not access.
It is not trust.
And it is not reconciliation.

Together, they explore how waiting for an apology drains your internal capacity, how resentment quietly erodes leadership and relationships, and why reclaiming your power starts internally — not externally.

You’ll learn:

The difference between forgiveness and reconciliation

Why you can forgive someone who never apologizes

What to do when old pain resurfaces

Practical tools for moving forward without abandoning yourself

This is a grounded, emotionally mature conversation for leaders, parents, and high-capacity humans who want peace without pretending, and boundaries without bitterness.

Forgiveness isn’t about outcomes.
It’s about stewardship of your own energy.

I’ll Walk with You Podcast is a about connection and conversations with mother and son duo Rhonda and Dakota.

From an LDS perspective, Rhonda and Dakota invite their guests to share perspectives about complex topics around faith, sexuality, and mental health.

Ganel-Lyn is a popular speaker, host, and author. She is a mental health advocate, social commentator and faith warrior. Several years ago, my husband, Doug, and I wanted to find a podcast that followed along with our church’s come follow me program. There were, and are many wonderful podcasts out there, but the one that spoke to our hearts was the Talk of Him podcast which Ganel-Lyn co-hosted. Her authenticity, vulnerability, and love for the Savior made it feel like I was listening to a dear friend. Doug, Dakota, and I had the privilege of meeting Ganel-Lyn in September of 2025 at the Fortified in Christ conference where she was presenting. She was and is everything I felt while watching her podcast. She truly is pure beautiful light! She quickly said yes with a huge smile on her face when we asked her to be a guest on our podcast. It was such a joy talking with her and we think that you will be lifted and inspired by the things that she shares. Thank you for joining us.
